Fuzzy Duck, who are based at the Greenhouse, has worked with the MediaCityUK team to use the latest technology to create an engaging, immersive marketing application showcasing the brand-new exciting and imaginatively designed workspace for digital and creative businesses.
The app, which can be used via Google Cardboard or full screen mode, provides 360 degree CGI visuals and key locations including the reception and a typical office floor. The app will also be viewable via a touch screen to be used within the Tomorrow marketing space in the Open Centre, which will allow visitors to explore the building, floorplans and CGI visuals.
Google Cardboard apps started to gain popularity in 2014, the advancement of smart phones and the gyroscopes within them allowed users to experience a full 3D environment without breaking the bank.
Dave Hartill from Fuzzy Duck, said: “We are still a growing company and since moving to MediaCityUK, it feels for the first time we’re no longer on the outside looking in. It really feels like you are at the heart of things, working from a place where people are keen to put in a shift and do something amazing today. This exciting brief gave us the opportunity to utilise the latest technology and execute this through one application. We created a platform in which viewers are able to see how the Tomorrow building will look. It gives potential occupiers the chance to move around the building and interact with this space whilst it is still under construction.
Lynn Haime, Asset Manager from MediaCityUK said: “We have such a fantastic mix of businesses at MediaCityUK, who are continually pushing boundaries and creating amazing content. Fuzzy Duck impressed us with their knowledge and vision of 360 VR and it has been a pleasure to work with one of the companies based at MediaCityUK to create an interactive application with virtual reality to demonstrate to companies who may be interested in Tomorrow”.
Tomorrow has 50,052 sq. ft. of available office space spread across 6 upper floors with floor plates of 8,342 sq. ft. Requirements can be satisfied from 3,313 sq. ft.
