Equinox Film and TV Production are celebrating winning the ‘Best TV Commercial Campaign’ category at the Northern Marketing Awards for their campaign for Motorpoint ‘We Put The Super Into Car Supermarket’
Motorpoint, the UK’s largest independent car retailer appointed Equinox to produce their TV campaign, which marked Motorpoint’s return to TV advertising for the first time in two years. The concept focused on showcasing the everyday ‘superhuman’ efforts put in by Motorpoint’s staff to deliver the company’s award-winning choice, value and service. The standout campaign featured a flying car and superhero characters covering powers including telekinesis, heat-ray, ink and X-ray.
Directed by Phil Hawkins and filmed at the Motorpoint Castleford site, this campaign demanded the expertise of the Equinox team along with over 50 cast and crew, and a sprinkling of CGI-generated special effects for maximum impact, to bring this fantastic campaign to life.
Motorpoint’s Marketing Director said “Partnering with the talented and professional team at Equinox to produce the latest TV Commercial has been a super experience from start to finish. We are extremely pleased with the final execution.”
