Web Foundry celebrates 10th anniversary with MediaCityUK move
Edinburgh-headquartered design and digital agency, Web Foundry is expanding into Manchester, opening an office base in MediaCityUK, as it reaches its 10thsuccessful year in business.
MediaCityUK-based Timeline North has provided online and delivery services for CBeebies Go Jetters.
The 52-episode 3D animated children’s TV show follows the adventures of four heroes, Xuli, Kyan, Lars and Foz, as they travel the world with their teacher, mentor and friend, Ubercorn. Through action, comedy and music the series introduces the BBC’s youngest audience to funky facts about landmarks and locations from all around the world.
Using Avid Symphony for grading corrections and Adobe After Effects for retouching and masking tools, in house editor Phil Jaxson worked closely with Blue Zoo animators to assure the quality of every frame of animation prior to delivery.
The tech department at Timeline North, led by Head of Technical Chris Mann, is responsible for the ingest and delivery across the project liaising between animation teams, composers, editors and dubbing mixers before finally producing AS11 files with Content Agent and Vidchecker.
