The London Stock Exchange Group has announced its 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2019 – featuring MediaCityUK’s Mason Advisory.
Manchester’s beloved New York Pizza & bar have announced that they’re opening at MediaCity this autumn and this time, they’re turning up the volume.
The new bar, located on MediaCity’s quayside Orange Building, will be the first Nell’s to feature private karaoke booths, shuffleboard tables, and a massive outdoor terrace, all alongside the brand’s signature 22in New York-style pizza, Ice Cream Sandwiches and frozen Margs.
“We’ve been thinking about MediaCity for a long time, it’s such a great area and we’ve seen what brilliant operators like Kargo have achieved so when this space came up, we jumped on it!” said Jonny Heyes, Co-Founder of Nell’s. “The venue is huge which has given us the chance to really play with the experience. This idea of karaoke and shuffleboard accompanying our made-for-sharing pizzas and great cocktails feels like a natural next step for us as a brand”.
Known for their giant 22-inch pizzas, NY inspired slices, party vibes and cult following, Nell’s has become a Manchester institution, with sites in Northern Quarter, Kampus, Chorlton and Altrincham. The MediaCity opening marks an exciting chapter for the Manchester born brand as they expand outside of the city centre once again.
Perfect for the family, for the friends, for the lunches and the late nights; Nell’s have also partnered with Deliveroo and Slerp – delivery platforms allowing them to send their 14in and even 22in pizzas far and wide. Office catering; but make it brilliant.
Expect huge slices, fierce karaoke sessions and lazy afternoons on the terrace when Nell’s MediaCity opens its doors this autumn.
“We’re delighted to be welcoming Nell’s to MediaCity as part of our ongoing evolution. Supporting local talent is a core part of what we do, and this new venue is a significant stride in creating a place to support our growing business community, as well as residents and visitors. As the first Nell’s venue to feature interactive entertainment, it’s set to be a game-changer, and we can’t wait to see it come to life this Autumn.” said Caroline Aikman, Director of Marketing & Place at MediaCity.
Nell’s are expected to create 35+ new jobs, from kitchen positions, management and entry-level positions – those looking to join a ‘Times 100 Best Places to Work’ listed business, two years running can enquire here – https://nellspizza.co.uk/work-with-us/
