One Gen Z media colleague described it as giving off ‘clean girl aesthetic’ while the rest of us would simply describe MediaCity’s latest Flex space on the 12 floor of Blue Tower as fresh, paired back and timeless.
You have to see it to believe it.
This major revamp of the 8,200 sq ft space which includes 15 suites, is another design triumph by Consensus and a totally different vibe to other refurbished spaces in MediaCity’s popular flex space offering.
Drenched in natural sunlight, thanks to the floor to ceiling windows and unbroken views of the Manchester Ship Canal and Salford’s green spaces – a view 12 floors up brings it home how lush Salford actually is.
The benefit of natural light has been fully embraced with iridescent vinyls on the internal office windows creating pink and golden hues as you wander through the welcoming and uplifting space.
Pale pink, mint and terracotta colourways on the walls and in the soft, on trend furnishings interspersed with geometric patterned wallpaper makes it feel more like a Pinterest worthy home than an office. Definitely conducive to being a happy place to work.
But what really gives this commercial oasis the design edge is it’s lighting. LED installations snake the length of both sides of the office in one continuous looping, irregular doodle. And there’s the soft lighting globes that illuminate the town hall ( meeting hub) that hints art deco.
The beautiful, communal kitchen is one that you wish you had at home. Pale stone coloured seamless units, a giant island with white marble affect tops while comfy seating and booths creates a welcoming hang-out area.
Rebekah Beere, Head of MediaCity’s Flex offering said: “We’re delighted with our latest flex space and excited to see the reaction of potential occupiers when they first see it.
It’s generous breakout amenities foster a positive and creative atmosphere – ideal for SMEs and start-ups looking for a cool, collaborative environment.”
“The offices will range from two to 16 desks, allowing occupants to grow their businesses. In response to feedback from previous viewings, we have created smaller suites that now also include a private meeting room.”
