MediaCity’s impressive MSCP, managed by Excel Parking Services Ltd on behalf of MediaCity, in Salford, Greater Manchester, has won the coveted European Gold Standard Parking Award. The 2,300 space multi-storey car park has been recognised by the European Parking Association (EPA) for its effective management and exceptional quality of service.
The MSCP sits in the heart of the waterside creative, tech and digital destination which is home to some of the world’s most exciting brands, from BBC North and ITV to Ericsson, The Hut Group, Kellogg’s and over 250 small to medium sized businesses. Along with the multi-storey car park, Excel Parking Services operates two other sites across MediaCity and Salford Quays providing more than 6,000 parking spaces.
The European Gold Standard Parking Award was established by the EPA as a biennial award for excellence and promotes improvements in both on and off-street public car parking. Only two car parks in Europe have achieved the award this year, and MediaCity is the first UK winner since 2016. Excel Parking Services on behalf of MediaCity is proud to have been awarded such a prestigious accolade that recognises its commitment to fairness and best practice within the car parking industry.
Neil Beverley, Property Manager for Car Parking MediaCity said: “Having a safe, secure car park which provides a fair service to our customers is very important to us at MediaCity. Along with our partners Excel Parking Services, we’re delighted to receive this prestigious gold European award.”
