The move means that 39 Pictures will support the charity and provide content production and consultancy for free.
39 Pictures’ Production Director, Sarah Chapman said:
“WDC is a charity we’ve always held close to our hearts, so to be able to make a difference and to work alongside their fantastic team, has given us all a massive morale boost.
“As with most companies, the pandemic really made us focus on the important things, and for us that was our company’s place within our wider community and what we could do to help.”
39 Pictures has already successfully delivered WDC and Brita’s celebrity-filled online Green and Blue Gala. An hour-long show to raise awareness of sustainability within the hospitality sector.
WDC has since named 39 Pictures’ Directors, Sarah and Stephen Chapman, as its ambassadors.
It comes as WDC launches its ground-breaking Green Whale campaign, to highlight the crucial role that whales play in fighting climate change and how businesses can help.
39 Pictures is also a member of the MediaCityUK’s Sustainability and Social Value Network. Emma Connolly, Co-Chair of the MediaCityUK Network said:
“The team at 39 Pictures are valued members of our network who are committed to driving positive change within MediaCity and beyond. We’re incredibly proud of their partnership with Whale and Dolphin Conservation and by using their skills to support WDC is inspirational.”
The MediaCityUK content production company works with clients around the world, including EA Sports, Betfred, Footasylum as well as providing white label production for agencies.
