GCUC UK, the world’s leading coworking conference series, is returning to Manchester for a second year, with the main event taking place at MediaCity’s Content Studio on Wednesday 11 June, followed by exclusive tours of Manchester’s top coworking spaces on Thursday 12 June 2025. Following the success of last year’s event, GCUC UK is delighted to bring it back to this incredible city. Manchester is special, and so are its people.
As the coworking sector continues to redefine the future of work, GCUC UK Manchester 2025 will once again bring together industry leaders, workspace operators, investors, and innovators for two days of thought-provoking discussions, networking, and knowledge-sharing in one of the UK’s most dynamic creative hubs.
The decision to host the event at Content Studio underscores GCUC UK’s commitment to innovation. Situated in the heart of MediaCity, the newly launched state-of-the-art content creation space represents the evolution of Manchester’s digital and creative economy. Designed to inspire collaboration and creativity, the space will provide the perfect setting for deep dives into the future of work, community, and workplace design.
Patrick Kennedy, Director at Colliers, said: “The flexible workspace sector has never been more vital to the way we work…..
The 2025 event will explore the critical themes shaping the flexible workspace industry, from the ongoing evolution of coworking and its impact on landlords, operators, and occupiers, to the role of AI and technology in future workspaces and community engagement. Sustainability and wellness will be central to the discussions, examining how workspaces can foster well-being and productivity, while hybrid work trends will take centre stage as businesses navigate the changing landscape of flexible work.
The event will attract a diverse mix of workspace pioneers, corporate real estate leaders, community managers, and startup founders, all keen to connect, share insights, and shape the next chapter of coworking.
A Venue That Reflects the Future of Work
Set within MediaCity’s White Tower, Content Studio is a next-generation creative space designed to empower entrepreneurs, brands, and digital creators. Featuring high-end content production facilities, podcasting studios, and creative zones, it is a blueprint for the workspaces of the future, where flexibility, technology, and collaboration take centre stage.
Rebekah Beere, who heads-up MediaCity’s Flex offering said: “We’re delighted GCUC UK earmarked MediaCity and specifically our new Content Studio to host this year’s coworking conference. We hope delegates will be inspired by the space. New generation flex spaces are more of a way of life than traditional office spaces and we’re excited to show off our creative spaces to the wider industry.”
A Community-Led Approach to the Future of Work
At the heart of GCUC UK Manchester 2025 is the belief that coworking is more than just real estate—it is about community, inclusivity, and designing spaces that truly work for people. The return to Manchester builds on the momentum of last year’s event, which saw an impressive lineup of operators, including x+why, Spacemade, Industrious, Clockwise, Huckletree and Work.Life. The conversations sparked, the collaborations formed, and the energy in the room reaffirmed why coworking is one of the most dynamic sectors in the future of work.
Emilie Lashmar, GCUC UK Director & Producer, added: “Coworking is no longer just a trend, it’s the foundation of how people and businesses choose to work. Regional coworking is proving that thriving workspaces don’t have to be confined to city centres—they can exist anywhere, providing opportunity and connection where people need them most. We’re absolutely delighted to bring GCUC UK back to Manchester—an incredible city with an even more incredible coworking community. This year, we’re going bigger, bolder, and better, bringing together the brightest minds in the industry to discuss, challenge, and redefine what’s next.”
As coworking continues to reshape the way we work, live, and connect, GCUC UK invites coworking operators, workspace professionals, property leaders, and creative entrepreneurs to be part of the conversation.
GCUC UK Manchester 2025 takes place at Content Studio, MediaCity on 11 June, with exclusive coworking space tours across the city on 12 June 2025.
