MediaCityUK and NJL win at Planning Awards 2017
MediaCityUK won Planning Permission of the Year at the Planning Awards 2017, run in conjunction with PlanningResource and PlacemakingResource.
NJL Consulting worked on behalf of MediaCityUK, a joint venture between Peel Land and Property and Legal and General Capital, to submit the application.
Phase two will double the size of MediaCityUK and represents a £1 billion investment in this location. It will bring forward c.1,800 apartments and 50,000 sq.m of offices with supporting retail, leisure, car parking and public realm.
The judges commended the strong commitment to partnership working with Salford City Council and Urban Vision, which resulted in a genuinely collaborative approach to achieving a high quality development.
