Verity spreads the Work Nation word
As the first occupier of MediaCityUK’s new creative co-working space, Work Nation, marketeer Verity Hodder, gives an insight into how she is finding her new flexible office in the Greenhouse.
As a marketing manager working remotely for cloud based Empactis – a leading provider of employee health, absence and engagement solutions – Work Nation provides her with a convenient office environment on a flexible basis.
Prior to the launch of Work Nation, Verity, from Urmston, Manchester worked from home, but missed the benefits and interaction that working in an office brings.
“Our team are spread all over the UK and we all work remotely. While working from home is very convenient for me, particularly when it comes to managing family commitments, I still miss working in an office environment.
“Now, I’m based in a thriving hub, where there is an intrinsic culture of collaborative working which is really refreshing and exciting.”
Empactis’s solutions help many organisations including NHS Trusts, British Gas, Eddie Stobarts United Biscuits, Mencapl and Serco deliver their business goals through reducing the risks and costs associated with employee absence, health and engagement.
“Our clients are based all over the UK and being based at MediaCityUK offers lots of commercial and networking opportunities right on my doorstep, making it more than just a desk for me.”
