UP Accelerator launches in Manchester
The UP Accelerator group has announced that they will be opening their second hub in Manchester on February 23rd.
The Tiki style bar (located at the heart of the Piazza), is set to open on the 1st May and will be serving tropical style drinks and fresh food from a vibrant wooden style shack adorned with Tiki heads, drift wood, curios and palm trees.
Open from 12 noon until late (weather permitting), the Shack’s menu will feature big fun, fruity cocktails – including mai-tais, mojitos and zombies as well as wine and beer and freshly made salads and sandwiches and a Friday evening BBQ.
Steve Pilling owner of the Dockyard and the Shack said:
“We had great fun running the winter Lodge last year and therefore wanted to create another cool pop-up bar where people can have some sizzling, summer fun! Our vision for The Shack is to offer a great space where people can enjoy a cocktail (or two) and a bite to eat, in a setting that gives a real relaxing holiday vibe”.
Stephen Wild, managing director of MediaCityUK said:
“As we head into summer and the weather warms up, it’s great to be able to offer our visitors, employees and residents a new bar where they can relax with family and friends. The Lodge was a great success last winter and Dockyard has been a welcome addition to MediaCityUK, so we look forward to seeing what fun the Shack will bring over the summer months”.
