Peel Media celebrates Investors in People success
Peel Media has clinched the top Investors in People gold standard, joining the top 7% of accredited organisations across the UK who are committed to realising the potential of their staff.
Its relocation to 4,000 sq ft of office space in Quay West on the banks of the Ship Canal follows the success of the RFL’s residency at The Greenhouse in MediaCityUK which housed the administrative headquarters of Rugby League World Cup 2013, the most successful international tournament in the sport’s history.
The RFL’s marketing, commercial, communications, digital media, ticketing and events departments now operate from the newly refurbished office accommodation in Quay West as well as the Super League’s recently appointed General Manager Blake Solly and the RFL’s North West development teams.
Super League General Manager Blake Solly said: “This is an exciting move that will raise the profile of Rugby League and better enable the sport to meet its commercial objectives.
“The relocation is in line with our established strategy of serving all our stakeholders nationally from three sites in Leeds, London and MediaCityUK.
“The presence of our World Cup team at MediaCityUK was an important factor in the success of the tournament and its relocation is a clear, natural and logical development.”

The combination of its close proximity to key broadcast sports outlets and a host of creative and media talent will undoubtedly help raise the profile of this fantastic sport.”

The Landing, MediaCityUK’s digital and tech enterprise hub, has announced details of its autumn business support programme which is open to any Greater Manchester start-up, scale-up or SME. All of them are either free or are fully funded for qualifying businesses and will cover key issues such as apprenticeships, remote working, business development and raising investment.
