MediaCityUK production company to produce Radio 2 Overnights
BBC Radio 2 has chosen MediaCityUK based independent audio production company Audio Always to produce the station’s new Weekday Overnight programme with OJ Borg.
After a competitive pitch process, Audio Always was selected to deliver the strand, which will be broadcast Monday to Friday from the BBC’s MediaCityUK studios.
Audio Always, which is based in the Tomorrow building at MediaCityUK, already produce a diverse range of content for BBC networks, including music documentaries for Radio 1 and factual programmes for Radio 4 and 5 live.
Stuart Morgan, Director at Audio Always said “We’re really excited to be producing Weekday Overnights with OJ. He’s such a great talent, and we can’t wait to launch this new show from our home in Salford.”
Weekday Overnights with OJ Borg launches in May.
