Joby Aviation’s electric air taxi touched down at MediaCity last week, silent, zero-emission and set to fly Manchester to Leeds in just 15 minutes (yes, really).

Through a new partnership with Virgin Atlantic, it’s landing in Manchester by 2028 and priced about the same as an Uber Exec.
